Here
are some of the photographs that I have taken over the years.
There are also a few that were taken by friends.
This page was updated in June 2001.

Before 1988 |
This
section is under construction. They won't be high quality by any stretch of the imagination, but they may be of interest to some of you who didn't see these shows. |
|
| Here
you can see some of the first half decent photographs of Gary Numan that
I got. They were taken on the Metal Rhythm Tour of 1988 and this was also
the first time I had got right at the front during a show. This was quite
handy as it meant I didn't have to keep dodging around people's heads to
get a picture! There are 28 photographs in this sub-menu. |

| This
was where things got really interesting photographically. I was able to get myself a really decent couple of cameras, namely a Pentax SFx and Zoom 90, and got to the front at a few more places. It was good to be able to use these at some venues, but rather worrying at others where they were not allowed and got confiscated at the door. The light-show was the best for some time as well and the backing singers were better. There are 32 photographs in this sub-menu. |

It was a little more
difficult to get good photo's at some of these venues and the lights didn't
make it any easier. However, I managed to get a few nice ones. Gary was
in a rather scruffy looking outfit with some flying trousers on! Keith
Beauvais and Jackie Rawe helped out on this tour. |

Emotion Tour |
Coming,
as it did, so close after the Outland tour, and also being what was referred
to as a "Club Tour", we didn't expect much to have changed,
and we were correct. The scanners were still the main lighting fx and the
main stage was gone. Gary had smartened himself up a bit and it was a hugely
enjoyable tour. It was also the first time he'd played outside the UK for
9 years. This section is still under construction. |
|
| The
Isolate Tour was also quite soon after the Emotion Tour. It was actually
supposed to have been the new album tour for Machine And Soul, but, this
was late being finished so it became known to us as "The Albumslate
Tour", much to the disgust of some of the faithful. Mainly scanners
again for the lightshow, but they seemed to work better here. I got some
very nice photo's from this tour and it was the first tour that I went to
every night of. This section is still under construction. |

Dream Corrosion Tour |
Ade
Eyeudye and myself had spoken to Gary about what songs he was likely to
do a couple of months before this tour. We were well impressed when he said
he was thinking of doing loads of songs he had not done before. This was
my favourite tour and the final night at Hammersmith became my favourite
concert of all time. I managed a few good photographs although it was quite
difficult with the scanners again. There are 21 photographs in this sub-section at the moment. More to come... |
|
| This
was NOT my favourite tour! I was shocked that I didn't like the Sacrifice
album very much at all and Gary seemed to lack a certain something to me.
Of course, that's only my opinion. Many others loved it. Gary also still
had his new hair that he had displayed on the OMD shows the previous December. This section is still under construction. |

Manchester Academy 1999 |
After
starting to not enjoy the shows as much, I had only gone to three nights
of the Premier Hits Tour and one night of the Exile Tour. Neither of these
produced any decent photographs although some were strong contenders for
the cancelled live album... I enjoyed this show more than any since 1993. It was great. Only 12 photographs here but they are the first good ones I had got for over five years! |
|
| A small selection of photographs from the Pure Tour. All were taken at the Manchester Academy show where the light show was understated to say the least, so don't expect miracles, or anything else from the Fury for that matter. |

Numanarchist pictures |
As
the Numanarchist, I don't take everything too seriously. Some of the examples
of this can be seen here in my Numanarchist Picture Library. There are 12 pictures in this sub-section. |
|
| This
is a couple of excellent drawings done by my good friend Georgina Anderson-Keeble.
They were originally available as a limited edition A3 high quality print
or as postcards. Georgina also has many other drawings from different stages of Gary's career, however, these are not available at present. |

Other Photo’s |
This
section has photographs of Gary and related items that were not taken during
concerts. There are Airshow photo's, stuff from some of the Fan Club competition
days out paintballing, go-karting etc., and any other things I can think
of. This section is still under construction. |

| The
Numanarchists' Hall of Fame. This section was added in June 2001 and, as promised elsewhere in the site, contains some silly pictures of some of the Numanarchists past and present. When I find some more, and there are lots somewhere, I will add them in. |
