What have I been up to on the Gary Numan site lately? Well, here is a list of the updates and alterations that I have made to the site going back to May 1999. Of course, some of the changes have been superceded since then. Where this is the case, I have removed any links from that part.

I thought I'd start my own mini - revival. Well no-one else was gonna do it for me. Anyway, the Jagged album review seemed as bad a place as any to start with, so if you haven't bought it yet, or you're just so keen that you really want my opinion, you can check it out.

I have absolutely no idea when or even if I will ever update the site again, but I have been working on a complete redesign. It'll probably take about five and half years to complete though, so don't hold your breath. The new Gary Numan Jagged album review seemed an obvious thing to try out the new style with. Enjoy. Or don't. It's free anyway so please yourself.

FANTASTIC!! Two whole updates in just 1 year! I amaze myself sometimes with the amount of work I am able to do on this site. Well, it is that time of year again...
Just a quick update this time, mainly about the new songs available to download from NuWorld, which is as much of a condolances message than anything else.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the Internet... Numanarchy is resurrected!
As you will have noticed, I never did get around to doing the review of "Scarred", so I thought I'd make up for it with a more relevant item. On Saturday 20th September 2003, Gary Numan performed a concert at Manchester Academy. It was the first concert by Him that I have attended since February 2001 and you can read my thoughts here. Well, I say read my thoughts, I mean read the thoughts that I have since put into words.

Blimey! What a long time between updates... You don't want to know why so I won't bother telling you.
To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that today is the twelfth anniversary, I doubt that I would be making the effort to update at all. Still, luckily for you I have. The fact that Numan had two albums (both doubles !) out in the space of a fortnight during February at least gave me something to go at, so with that in mind I have done a review of the album Hybrid, or as I like to call it "Low Bridge".
I was going to add that a review of the live album "Scarred" would be online soon, but I don't think I will get around to doing it for some time yet.

As part of my new Weekly Updates (which I expect will last for the foreseeable future, or to put it another way, about a week), news of Gary's forthcoming appearance on TOTP2 and why the pressure is on Him from Artful Records, who expect a new album delivered by May!

13th August 2002

Added a review of the Rip single and the extra tracks that were included on it.
Added a review of the TV show Smash! The Human League Story that mentioned Numan and included a clip of Tubeway Army performing on Top Of The Pops.

7th July 2002

Added a new page "TellyTour 2002" about some of the recent TV interviews that Gary has done. Includes the Heaven and Earth Show from today and last week's Sky News Active.

Recent events in the Numan world have led to me having to put yet another update in the news section. You know, sometimes I just wish Gary would slow things down a bit and stop being so busy - it's hard to keep up, as the bishop said to - oh you've probably heard that one.
Also added in the "Are 'Friends' Electric? - Springfield Remix" and "Soul Protection - Extended Remix" flash files which proved so popular on the secondary site (well, four people said they liked it). These can be accessed from the songs section.
Also in the other stuff section, discover just how bad people think this site is thanks to it being the featured site of the month on the fantastic AFE website.
On a purely personal basis, I'd just like to add that I'm brilliant. Thank you.

Oh crikey, that's blown it! Another update appeared on NuWorld so I had to update this site as well. The news page has details of what was said and a link to a special section concerning it.
Also, an interstellar anomoly caused a letter from an alternate reality to end up through my door instead of the Gary Numan of the Andromeda Major galaxy. As it could not be verified as being authentic, coming as it did from a different universe, I have put it in another completely unsubstantiated rumour.

Yipes! Where's me trousers?
Well, as you can see, I have been a busy Numanarchist over the last year or so, what with all these updates I don't know how I manage to fit everything in.
But, I couldn't let this date go by (B-Bye) without putting something on here. Sorry to all the regular visitors to this site for the lack of stuff on here lately - I bet you were both wondering where I was! Anyway, I have put a new page on that is actually an essay about Numan that I did as part of my degree.
Also did a small bit on the news page about recent non-events.

2nd June 2001

Added more photo's to the Hall of Fame. There are now 22 full size, and mostly quite silly, photo pages linked to the menu page. Added two photo's of the Chess Set and put an e-mail link in that I forgot to do last time!
Put a small bit about the US Tour and Rip video on the news page but, to be honest, you're probably better off with AFE for news. They have plenty much more than even Numan does!
Oh yeah, nearly forgot. I've put an extra photo in the Numanarchist Pictures.

BLIMEY! I have at last added some stuff to the site. I really have been so busy recently I simply haven't had time to do much. I have started a new section that will have more in it as time goes by... It is the Numanarchists Hall of Fame and has a few pictures of some of us.
Also this month, there is something different by way of a look at one of my most prized possessions, my Doctor Who Chess Set. Mind you, it's not so prized that I don't want to offload it for the right offer!

Well, I have been ill with the dreaded "Tour Flu" that always used to plague many of us throughout the late '80s and early '90s, so I have been quiet for a while, but, I have finally done the review of the Pure Tour as viewed by myself and the original Mike R. Slides at the Manchester Academy on 21-02-01.

I know it's been a while, but I have now got around to fixing the few links that didn't quite work right here. There is also a new link to a new site that is well worth a look at on the links page.

9th December 2000.

Well I have been on about it for ages and I have finally got around to doing something about it... The Site has been re-born! I was a bit unsure about using the frames as I know some people don't have that function, but, I like it this way! If you don't have frames enabled you should still be able to see all sections of the site. If you can't, then I haven't learned as much as I thought.
There are a few new things here and a few things that have been promised for ages that never materialised.
I have made a simple map page showing the site heirarchy to give you some idea of the structure. Each page in the site has been put into a sub-menu. Again, this is much easier in the frames version.
There are a couple of new songs, well, lyrics anyway. I am toying with the idea of having a few soundfiles there but don't hold your breath.
The review pages have been added to and I hope to add a lot more to this section in the future.
The old photo's and pictures sections have been combined onto one sub-menu page with a few more details about what is on them, or what WILL be on them.

Finally started to TRY to update some of the rubbish on this site! Added an animation of the Fury stage show which you can see here. (Provided you can see Flash movies of course!)

The new album came out on Monday the 9th as I'm sure most of you in the UK are aware. It has grown on me immensely over the last 5 days and is hardly out of the CD player. You can read my opinion, for what it's worth, here if you want to...

Well, I have finally got around to STARTING to TRY to fix some of the problems with some of the pictures not displaying properly, The Skin Mechanic Tour Photo's in particular. It isn't finished yet (Oh no, I'm starting to sound like Gary!)
Actually, I wish I hadn't bothered as the internet connection keeps playing up today and I keep losing stuff.

Well it doesn't seem like it, but this site has been on-line for a year on the 26th March. To celebrate, I'm not putting anything new on it what-so-ever. That's right, no new photo's, pics, reviews, songs, no nothing! If you are wondering why then you are missing the whole point...
Actually, to tell the truth, I really just haven't had the time lately and I have also been having some prob's with the old PC at home. I hope to get it sorted soon as I have also got the Numanarchist Newsletter to do before Sunday, of course, that only goes out to fully fledged members of the Numanarchists. If you're not one, you won't be getting it! Check out AFE or OUTLAND or if you're REALLY stuck for something to do, NU-WORLD. There's bound to be something funny on at least two of those sites...

I really have nothing to say about the album not being released that I haven't already said many times before. This is nothing new as it has been going on for the past ten years or so. I can't be bothered working on the site at the moment as I have much more to do than this... However, there will be a major reconstruction this year so look out for it. Or will it be next year? Or the year after? Who knows?
